Here at Somatic tones there are two very unique adventures for you to journey on, Wellness or Therapy.

Here's what you can expect from a Wellness Session:

Deep Restorative Somatic Session
Description: Experience a profound shift in your nervous system. This session addresses where stress lives in the body.

Using a synergy of Bio-Sensory Tools (PEMF, Infrared Heat, and Heated Stones), we create an environment of physiological safety.
This allows your body to drop its defences, releasing held tension, and inviting a deep sense of somatic restoration that feels like pressing a "reset button" on your stress response.

Your Session Includes:

Multi-Sensory Immersion: Choose from guided visualization or quiet soothing sounds to anchor your relaxation.
Narrative Support: Receive validating insights and grounded feedback to help integrate your experience.
Somatic Energy Release: Leave feeling lighter, more flexible, and deeply regulated.

Here's what you can expect from a Somatic Trauma Informed Therapy Session:

Our time together will look like a blend of clinical counselling and guided body awareness.

Check-In: We discuss your current challenges, goals, and mental state.
Tracking: I will invite you to pause and notice what is happening in your body as we talk. ("As you share that, what do you notice happening in your chest or stomach?")
Resourcing: We will identify "anchors" of safety—people, places, or physical sensations that help you feel grounded.
Processing: Using the safety we’ve built, we gently approach the traumatic material to allow the stuck energy to discharge naturally, often resulting in a deep sense of relief or release.

This approach is best for clients experiencing:

Chronic anxiety or panic attacks.
PTSD or C-PTSD (Complex Trauma).
A feeling of being "stuck" or "numb" despite years of talk therapy.
Physical symptoms of stress (chronic pain, tension, digestive issues).

Insurance Note: This service is provided by a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW). Receipts are provided for insurance reimbursement under "Social Work / Social Service Work" benefits.
